Classic Italian dark cherries for cocktails, dessert, cooking and baking. Like Luxardo cherries, Amarachino in Syrup is made with wild cherries that have a sweet, bitter and herbaceous flavour and are preserved with their stems. Nothing like their candied, red sickly sweet cousins. Use in cocktails such as a Manhattan. Spoon into rich meaty sauces for duck or pork. In Italy, the syrup and cherries are spooned over almond cake, pannacotta, crepes, and ice cream. 20 -22 per jar
